Clos Triguedina - Clos Triguedina 2019 - AOC Cahors

This Clos Triguedina - cuvée classique (winemaker Jean-Luc Baldés) is made from 85% Malbec, 13% Merlot and 2% Tannat, and aged for 12 months in barrels of French oak. It is a deep-dark wine, with a rich bouquet of red and black fruit, with hints of licorice and mint. In the mouth it is full and powerful but with a soft texture. In addition to the fruit we also find a slight spiciness and smoked. This wine is The expression of what a Cahors should be. 

A young Triguedina goes well with foie gras, charcuterie and grilled red meat. Old, it is perfect with truffles, roast meats, game and hard cheeses such as Comté, Cantal or goat's cheese.
